1942 - 2007
It is with great sadness that TT-Photos.net has to inform our visitors of the passing of Geoff Cannell - the Voice of the TT. Geoff was taken ill suddenly on Monday 24th September 2007 and passed away later the same day at Nobles Hospital, Isle of Man. His family are believed to have been by his side throughout. Geoff was widely known amongst race fans for his commentary at the TT, MGP and Southern 100 races and for his encyclopedic knowledge of all things bike racing. He was Sports Editor and presenter with Manx Radio, Press Officer for many of the motorsport events that take place on the island, also very active within the sporting community in general on the island.
Our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.
He will be greatly missed
